skin color changes..?
My skin color has always been light..from the time i was a baby until i was about 16ish (im 19 now) I always used to cover myself up with clothing when i was in the sun, and i never EVER tanned on the beach or anything. used sunsreen allover my body, and found shade because i always loved my skintone.
Recently, I went with my friends to the beach, the waterpark, the pool ALL SUMMER. I never used sunscreen and this was the first time literally EVER that i didnt cover myself up..now i regret it. I thought that the DEEP tan i got would go away (i literally go SO dark) Its been 5 months snce summer and it hasnt gone away!! How to i get my old natural skintone back? is it going to be this color forever? Everyone tells me that tans fade in like a week…why didnt mine? Is it possibly that it’s permanent? Im spanish, btw and most of my family including my mother and father are much darker than me..if that helps.
it’s probably not forever, but it sounds like it’s going to take a LONG time to fade. maybe a few years? for now you should just try to avoid the sun as much as you can. and always wear sunscreen! the sun is the number 1 cause of wrinkles!
