Melanoma Spread Liver
about melanoma cancer that has spread to liver, lungs and heart?
my friend has been diagnosed with melanoma cancer and it has already spread to his liver, lungs and heart, they are starting heavy chemo on him and he is in his early 40′s, what can i expect
I am very sorry about your friend and I don’t mean to sound heartless, but we just do not have an effective treatment against metastatic melanoma. The median survival for stage 4 patients is 6-7 months, given the organs involved in your friend’s disease it is probably more like 3-4 months.
