Malignant Melanoma Pain

Malignant Melanoma Pain
I have pain under my ribcage on right side.Mostly when I inhale.?

It started 3 days ago & is getting worse.Pain is now from my shoulder to lower back.I havent overexerted myself.I have been recovering from carple tunnel surgery(3 months ago)I have a history of malignant melanoma & the last 3 EKGs I have had, came back abnormal.I thought if it was a heart-attack,I would be dead by now.Am tired of going to doctors & hospitals.Feels better when I sit.If I lay down more than a couple hours,it seens to get worse.Pain is sharp.

It sounds very much like pleurisy which would require an antibiotic so you really should go to the doctor. I have had pleurisy twice. The first time it hurt really really bad-I went to the hospital it hurt so bad. The second time I had it, it wasn’t as bad and I recognized the pain so I knew what it was. Sorry but I think you should be on the safe side and go to the doctor. The doctor can go by your symptoms or even do an x-ray to confirm if it truely is pleurisy. The pain can vary from chest, back, shoulder, and ribs. It is a sharp pain that increases when you inhale, laugh, or cough and it can get worse if you don’t get it treated. It can be caused by an infection (that you might not even know about) or an injury. It is basically an infection in the lining of your lung and it sounds and feels worse than it actually is. Antibiotic should clear it up.
