i have a dark patch on my chin?
actually the dark patch is under my lower lip and when i put my lower lip inside my mouth , the patch is actually reddish and a little rough but when my lower lip is not inside my mouth , the patch is like black and looks like i have a beard . the patch is also rough . i went to a doctor and i got a prescription medicine for it . and the doctor said to call after 6 weeks . the medicine is called hydroquinone USP, 4% . skin bleaching cream with sunscreens . i apply it every morning but it seem to not work . ive been using it for 1 and a half weeks already.
and i got a paper fore more information about the medicine . it says the side effects are mild burning, stinging,redness,and dryness may occur.if any of these effects persists or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacists promptly.well the side effects are continuing so should i tell my doctor or wait until 6 weeks to tell the doctor what is happening since that is when she said i should call her ?
